Welcome to the "Neige et soleil" international youth hostel of Valberg

In Summer or winter, come to Valberg, 1700m, 80 kilometers from Nice, in the Alpes-Maritimes, in the Mercantour National park. The road to Valberg goes in the middle of bright red rock typical of the Gorges de Cians that partially hide the picturesque village of Beuil les Launes. The ancient villages of Guillaume et Péone, in the Gorges du Daluis, are reminders of of how tough the life of local people and shepherds used to be.

In winter, Valberg offers its steep slopes to skiers and snowboarders and its more gentle slopes to families, groups and beginners along with tracks for cross country.

In summertime, you will also find many options: from hiking, mountain biking, archery, summer sledge, horse riding, or swimming. 

"Neige et soleil" is far from the usual luxury fashionable ski-resort hotel. It is a warm and friendly place, located at the bottom of ski slopes next to the ski lifts, and is ideal for week-ends between friends or in family. It can accommodate up to 52 people, in bedrooms of 2, 4 or 6 beds, all looking over the nearby slopes. Two rooms are available for groups or families. Meals are taken together with the expected help of everyone for service.
